This project presents the design and implementation of an Augmented Reality (AR) edutainment application based on the famous episode "Monkey Subdues White-Skeleton Demon" from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. The app uses AR to enhance the storytelling experience, enabling users to interact with and explore the characters, environments, and events in an immersive 3D space. By combining educational content with entertainment, this project aims to engage users in both learning and playing.

AR-based Interaction
• Using Vuforia SDK, the application overlays 3D models and animations onto the real world, allowing users to interact with virtual characters and environments through their mobile devices or AR glasses.
3D Character Models & Animations
• The episode is brought to life through detailed 3D models of the Monkey King, the White-Skeleton Demon, and other characters, with smooth animations that depict key moments from the story.
Interactive Storytelling
• Users can engage with the characters and influence the progression of the story by triggering animations, interactions, and mini-games within the app.
Educational Value
• The app not only entertains but also educates users about Journey to the West, its characters, and Chinese mythology, offering pop-up information panels and voice narration to explain key plot points and cultural contexts.
